The company originates from the previous Ingersoll Engineers (Rockford, IL), founded in 1963 as part of Ingersoll International. It became independent as a consequence of LMBO in 1988, Ingersoll Engineers was restructured into four independent companies located in USA, UK, Germany, France and Italy.
