Where is the German Industry in OPEX and Industry 4.0?

ROI analyzed the situation of German Companies about OPEX and Industry 4.0 implementation projects. 

More uncertain are the times, more important is to make the structures, processes and practices within the organizations. Operational Excellence (OPEX) programs provide the framework for the necessary improvements in all areas of the company and form the basis for a flexible and powerful organization.

But how far the German industry is actually in terms of OPEX implementation and how the understanding of operational excellence changed as part of the digitization of business processes and production systems? Our Partner, during the event "Under 400 Seconds - the ROI Pecha Kucha Experience" in the beginning of January, asked these questions of industry experts from various business sectors.

The results attracted attention: While about 74% of respondents actively deal with the issue OPEX within the company, about 53% of them see as a latecomer, or stated that they have already missed the boat.
